Purple rain

Abutilon x suntense may be a bit of a straggly shrub but it flowers magnificently in the dry shade underneath the mimosa tree.

The wisteria is its usual magnificent self  and with the hot weather its fragrance hangs heavy in the air.

The iris sibirica plants I bought last year are flowering now and standing out beautifully against a background of shrubs.
