I’m Berry Optimistic
14th June 2012 • In The Garden • Stephanie DonaldsonThe cultivated blackberry is planted on the shady side of the greenhouse where it doesn’t get a great deal of direct sunshine but it always crops pretty well, as do the gooseberries planted in front of it. Where space is at a premium it’s worth planting things in less-than-ideal positions – the crop may be a little smaller, but if the alternative is no crop, it is definitely worth a try.
