Miscanthus napaulensis

On my recent trip to Normandy one of the plants that really excited me was the Himalayan Fairy Grass Miscanthus nepalensis.  It isn’t totally hardy so probably isn’t a plant for a cold garden – but given sunshine and shelter its beautiful golden plumes are irresistible. Woottens offer these and just to prove that I put my money where my mouth is, my order has just arrived – as well-grown and packaged as ever – with the added refinement that yesterday I received an email telling me to expect my delivery today.  That’s what I call  service!
