    Feeling Blue

    Not every blue flower is unwelcome in the garden – there are some real beauties at the moment that are having their moment before the tulips (currently in fat bud) start to strut their stuff and demand attention.


    I love the modest beauty of the Ipheon and especially the rich blue of I. ‘Jessie’


    Iris unguicularis – the Algerian iris thrives on neglect in a sunny spot next to a wall or in a pot


    Muscari paradoxa is a sturdy plant with thick strappy leaves and large eye-catching denim blue flowers
