Pheasant’s Eye narcissus in full flower

It is one of those springs where everything is in flower at once. Because of the dry weather (we had a shower last night, but that’s been all in the past month) the tulips have given up trying to grow taller and in some cases are flowering close to ground level (not attractive) and all the late spring flowers are rushing to join in – Pheasant’s Eye narcissus usually flower in May, but they are blooming now, as are the camassias and even the Euphorbia mellifera is getting in on the act.
