My Tomatoes Take a Turn for the Better

I was resigned to a really poor crop of tomatoes, but it’s amazing what a few days of sunshine can do. The greenhouse tomatoes are looking in quite good shape and there should be a reasonable crop. The outdoor tomatoes are another matter entirely and I have resolved (again) to restrict myself to growing them undercover. The trouble is that I love home grown tomatoes so much and I keep hoping that we will have a hot dry summer where outdoor tomatoes flourish and blight is banished. Some hope! I’ve also resolved to restrict myself to just 6 tomatoes in the greenhouse rather than the rush hour conditions that my 12 plants are enduring. Experts assure me that each plant will have a bigger crop. I suppose I just need to trust the experts.
