Confounded by Iris

At some point last year I distinctly remember writing that Iris reticulata generally need replanting each year as it doesn’t get hot enough to ripen the bulbs.

Well, it wasn’t that hot last year, but they are popping up all over the place in the garden and a pot in the greenhouse greeted me with 3 lovely flowers with lots more to come. The more I garden the less I know!
