Copious Cobaea
8th September 2011 • Pretty as a picture • Stephanie DonaldsonIf it’s coverage you are after with an annual climber, it’s hard to think of a rival for Cobaea scandens. This is a plant with a lot of virtues, it grows easily from seed, it’s attaches itself readily to any support with its tendrils and then it has very exotic looking large flowers. Put it in a sunny position and it will flower it socks off. What a performer! It deserves a place in ‘plants of distinction‘.
