Yesterday was the Garden Press Event when the horticultural trade shows us what’s new for the year ahead. There were 90 stands and by the time everyone of them (pretty well) had given me their intense five minute spiel about why their product was the one I should write about I had a fairly good idea what it must be like to go to a speed dating event. At least all I had to do was hand over my card. There were some things that caught my eye and the next few posts will feature some of them.
