Echinacea Purpurea

I was lucky enough to spot this butterfly in the garden yesterday. It was hard at work gathering nectar from this echinacea purpurea but I managed to get close enough to take a few snaps. I hope you like them.

    Those are wonderful photos! It’s not easy to snap a butterfly–they are never still! I really like the way the sunlight affected the second photo. What kind of camera and lens did you use?

    Thank you Rita. They were taken on a Panasonic DMC-TZ50 with the standard lens.
