We’re pleased to keep you informed on the latest plant offers. This month it’s the UK’s first dwarf variety buddleja. Introduced with much hype, or should we say buzz, in 2009 by Thompson and Morgan it went on to win the ‘Best New Plant Variety’ at the 2010 Grower of the Year awards. With considerable less height and foliage (but the same proportion of flowers) than it’s larger relation the Buddleja Buzz is well suited to growing in pots. The eventual spread and height could be just over a metre making it well suited for balcony or patio gardens. Be aware if growing from pots they will need regular watering and feeding, those planted in the ground will require less attention. Now available in a range of colours that include : Ivory, Magenta and Lavendar. At time of writing a Jumbo plug of Buddleja Buzz costs £9.99 but if you opt for all three colours (worth £29.97) it’s currently half price at £14.99 – good reason to puchase.
