We’re Still Eating our Greens

The swiss chard I’ve been growing in the greenhouse in last year’s grow bags is doing us proud – I’ll move them outdoors in their growbags when it’s time for the tomatoes to take their place.  Outside there are a few more pickings from the Petit Posy brassicas.  Once they’re finished the shallots will take their place.  In the meantime I’m celebrating Monty Don’s return to Gardener’s World by following his advice and getting the shallots started in cells.

The allotment in June

Is now pretty full; its just the main planting of  brassicas to go now and that will be done on our return.
