Sow now
A timely packet arrived from Unwins Seeds this morning with a selection of their Gro-Sure range of seeds for autumn sowing, so those bare patches in the vegetable garden can now be pressed into service. In case you are thinking of doing a bit of sowing yourself, the selection consisted of Rocket Pegasus, Mizuna Red Knight, Coriander Confetti, Radish French Breakfast and Onion Hi Keeper.
Well I have just looked in my seed storage box and found packets of three of the seeds that you mention. Un-opened and bought this year and clearly just waiting for a reminder. I will head off to the allotment this pm and sow. Thank you.
I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve been thinking and contemplating about seeking but taking no action. Now that I’ve come across your post, however, I just have to do it.
So as soon as I finish posting this comment, I will run over to my local nursery and get some seeds. The Corianders and Radishes sound good but I’ll see what’s available.
