  • A Sublime Sight

    3rd June 2014GeneralStephanie Donaldson

Of the many wonderful things I saw at Chelsea, it was the white planting on the Hillier Nursery stand that took my breath away. It was a fine example of how layered planting composes a complete picture and just the sort of thing to bear in mind when the view beyond the garden boundaries is not worth looking at. The sinuous wrought-iron trees were made by designer blacksmith Colin Phillips. www.colin-phillips.co.uk white planting scheme at the chelsea flower show 2014
